STRENGTHENING OF UKRAINE’S COMPETITIVE POSITION ON INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

The article reveals the essence of the concept of competitiveness and competitiveness of the country, its main indicators. It is noted that under the conditions of transformational changes in the globalized world, international competition between states is growing significantly. Therefore, for Ukraine, in the difficult conditions of a large-scale military invasion, it is extremely important to find and activate factors for strengthening competitive positions in international markets and increasing national competitiveness.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the trends, volumes and structure of Ukraine's exports, its main sales markets, determine the competitive advantages of the countries' economies, outline theoretical and conceptual approaches to the formation of economic policy regarding the formation of competitive advantages of the country and its regions at the current stage of the development of international trade, justify the ways of strengthening competitive positions on international markets, taking into account the extremely difficult conditions of the geopolitical crisis, economic risks, climate changes and transformational transformations in the world economy and the country's economy.
The research was carried out by the author using a number of general scientific methods, in particular: monographic, analysis and synthesis, observation, measurement, descriptive-analytical and statistical-economic methods.
Research has proven that the dynamic development of the world economy requires constant analysis of various aspects of national competitiveness, which allows to identify the main sources of competitive advantage formation and key aspects of restructuring by the state and business to ensure a high level of national competitiveness. Taking into account the above, in order to strengthen Ukraine's competitive position on international markets, it is necessary to focus efforts on the modernization of domestic enterprises, the introduction of innovative technologies and the increase in the production of products with high added value, deep processing taking into account the modern requirements of the green economy and the principles of the bioeconomy.
